Melyek a magyar gazdaság versenyképességének legfőbb tényezői és hiányosságai az információs- és tudásgazdaság korában? Szó esik az információs technológiai forradalom felzárkóztatási hatásáról, a feldolgozóipar, valamint az immateriális, tudásbázisú tevékenységek eltérő modernizációs hozzájárulásáról és természetesen a felsőoktatási rendszer problémáiról, kilátásairól.

What are the main underlying factors and the shortcomings of its competitiveness in the new era of information- and knowledge-economies? The effects of the IT revolution on catching-up, the different ways by which both the processing industries and virtual, knowledge-based activities can contribute to modernization, and, naturally, several problems and prospects of tertiary education are also discussed.
