| Abstract |
Az információ 70-80 százaléka helyhez köthető. Az info-kommunikációs technológiák fejlődésével a klasszikus ábrázolás, a térkép átadja helyét a digitális téradatoknak és a helyhez kötött szolgáltatásoknak. Az internetnek köszönhetően az adatoknak nemcsak a megosztása, hanem a gyűjtése is egyre szélesebb társadalmi réteg bevonásával történik. A térinformációs infrastruktúra áttekintést nyújt a téradatokkal kapcsolatos szolgáltatásokról és azok igénybevételének feltételeiről, s lehetővé teszi a rendszerek interoperabilitását. A térinformációs infrastruktúra stratégiai tervezésénél szükség van a társadalmi hatások értékelésére, a felhasználói igények és az alkalmazott műszaki megoldások figyelembe vétele mellett. A szaporodó üzleti alkalmazások és e-közigazgatási szolgáltatások egyre inkább az információs társadalom tér-tudatossá válása irányában hatnak.

| Abstract (translation) |
70-80 percent of recorded information can be linked to geographical location. The development of information and communication technologies has triggered an accelerating replacement of traditional maps by digital data and location-based services. Thanks to the Internet, not only sharing but also collecting spatial information are getting extended to new and wider groups in the population. Spatial information infrastructures provide an overview of available data, services, and the conditions of their utilization. For strategic development of these infrastructures it is indispensable to assess their societal impact, taking into consideration both the users’ requirements and the applied technology. The ever growing number of business and e-government applications exert a strong influence on information societies to become more and more spatially aware.
