Abstract	A szegénység fogalma a hazai szociológiában többször újra- és átértelmezett fogalom, mára már a megismerést korlátozó jelentésekkel, úgy, hogy a szegénység az elmúlt két évtizedben rohamosan terjed Magyarországon. A KSH adatai szerint ma Magyarországon a 7 év alatti gyermekek 42,2 százaléka él szegénységben. A cikk áttekinti a szegénység fogalmának változásait, és kiemeli azokat a hátrányokat és lehetőségeket, melyeket a digitális technológiák jelentenek a fiataloknak.
Abstract (translation)	The notion of poverty is an often reinterpreted concept of domestic sociology, now with cognitive limitations. Moreover, poverty has spread rapidly in Hungary over the past two decades. According to the Central Statistical Office’s data, 42.2 per cent of children under the age of seven live in poverty in today’s Hungary. This article looks at the changes in the concept of poverty and highlights the disadvantages and opportunities that digital technologies represent for young people.
