Title: Balancing theory and practice in entrepreneurship education by applying the student-generated case study method Subtitle: The experience of start-up management courses at the Corvinus University of Budapest Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to present a method of entrepreneurship education for discussion, sharing experience and ideas with colleagues with an interest in entrepreneurship education. The paper will show the major elements of the student-generated case study method and describe how theoretical knowledge and practical approach are combined. The method is presented in detail, outlining how students go through an iterative learning process with a balanced combination of theory and practice.
