Title: A digitális esélyegyenlőség helyzete Magyarországon
Subtitle: A digitális egyenlőtlenségek leküzdésére irányuló állami programok (2003-2005)
Abstract: A szerző tanulmányában a digitális esélyegyenlőséggel kapcsolatos társadalompolitikai intézkedések eredményeit tárgyalja, a digitális megosztottság csökkentésének és a hagyományos társadalmi kirekesztődés kezelésének új lehetőségeit vizsgálva az információs társadalomban. Bemutatja és kritikailag elemzi az esélyegyenlőség biztosítására az adott időszakban indított programokat, elsősorban az internethasználat ösztönzésére irányuló stratégiára koncentrálva. Megállapítja, hogy a bonyolultan megfogalmazott állami célkitűzések elvi szinten megfelelőek, a programok megvalósítása azonban sok kívánnivalót hagy maga után.

Abstract: State programs for diminishing the digital divide (2003-2005) The author of this paper discusses the results achieved in Hungary in the field of digital equity, analyzing new possibilities of reducing the digital divide and dealing with the problems of traditional social exclusion in the information society. She describes and critically discusses several state projects of the given period, focussing on the strategies of encouraging and improving the use of the internet. She comes to the conclusion that the sophisticated goal-setting of the projects had been, in principle, appropriate but the actual implementation of them was far from satisfactory.
