Title: Néhány marxi gondolat érvényessége az információs társadalomban Abstract: Tanulmányomban arra teszek kísérletet, hogy felhívjam a figyelmet, néhány marxi gondolat – alapos revíziónak alávetve – az információs társadalomban is megállja a helyét, amennyiben a vizsgálódást a nyugati civilizáció területére szűkítjük. A marxi elmélet inkonzisztens jellegénél fogva kizárólag azoknak a terminológiai kérdéseknek és megközelítési módoknak az információs társadalom szempontjából való elemzésére vállalkozom, amelyek többször is felbukkannak Marx különböző munkáiban, tehát az életmű egészét áthatják. Szót ejtek a technológiai determinizmusról , a szellemi munkáról , az automatizálásról, a szabadidő-szükségletről, az általános munkáról, a copyright és a copyleft párhuzamos együttéléséről, valamint az „egyesült termelők társadalma” versus kapitalizmus kérdéséről. Title: The relevance of some Marxian ideas in information societies Abstract: The author of this paper attempts to call attention to certain Marxian ideas, which, subjected to careful revision, may even apply to an information society, as long as consideration is restricted to the territories of Western civilization. Keeping in mind the inconsistent nature of Marxian thought, she only undertakes the analysis, from the perspective of information societies, of approaches and terminology that repeatedly emerge in Marx's works and can be regarded as enduring themes in his oeuvre. She discusses technological determinism, automatized work, the need for free time, "general intellect", the co-existence of copyright and copyleft, and the question of communism ("the society of united producers") versus capitalism.
