Absztrakt: A tanulmány röviden bemutatja a World Wide Web harmadik generációjának nevezett szemantikus hálót, a jelenleg is elérhető webes szolgáltatások tükrében. Szerzői olyan online multimédia annotációs szolgáltatásokat hasonlítanak össze, melyek alkalmazásával az együttműködő, közösségi tanulás megvalósítható. Öt különböző annotációs szolgáltatást értékelnek hat fő irányelv alapján, technológiai és pedagógiai szempontok szerint. Mind az öt szolgáltatás tartalmaz az oktatási folyamatba integrálható elemeket, de egyikük, a Viddler kiemelkedik a többi közül, mivel lehetőséget ad a videó-felvételek közösségi annotációjára. A tanulmány kitér a multimédia annotáció jövőbeni lehetőségeire is, és röviden ismerteti az EU „Információs társadalmi technológiák” című nemzetközi K+F programjának támogatásával indított KP-Lab projekt keretében fejlesztett, trialogikus tanulási modellre épülő szemantikus multimédia annotációs eszközt (Semantic Multimedia Annotation Tool, SMAT).

Alcím: the new generation of multimedia annotation tools
Absztrakt: The paper presents a short introduction to the semantic web (often called the third generation of the World Wide Web), in the mirror of currently available applications. Through the comparison of online multimedia annotation services scaffolding collaborative community learning, the authors indicate the educational potentials of these resources. Based on six main principles, they evaluate five different annotation services from both technological and pedagogical perspectives. All of these devices have certain elements that can be integrated into teaching and learning, however, one of them called Viddler offers the best opportunities for video annotation in community learning networks. The paper introduces some future prospects of multimedia annotation, such as the Semantic Multimedia Annotation Tool (SMAT) under development in the framework of the KP-Lab project, an international research and development program based on trialogical learning theory and supported by an Information Society Technologies (1ST) grant of the EU.
