Cím: Néprajz az információs társadalomban Alcím: A kulturális örökség digitalizálása Absztrakt: A tanulmány a néprajz és az antropológia szerepét vizsgálja az információs társadalomban. A néprajz több száz éves tapasztalatával és kiforrott fogalomkészletével, a kulturális antropológia pedig korszerű módszertanával, rugalmasságával és holisztikus szemléletével járulhat hozzá az információs társadalom kutatásához. A szerző három fő témahalmazzal foglalkozik: a kulturális örökség digitalizálásával, a néprajz és az Internet kontextusában a folklorisztika tárgykörébe utalható „forró pontokkal”, valamint azzal a szereppel, amit az információs írástudás terjedése a magyar népesség körében végzett átfogó jellegű néprajzi és antropológiai kutatások terén betölthet.

Cím: Ethnography in the information society Absztrakt: This paper examines the role of ethnography and anthropology in studying the information society. Ethnography's contributions based on experience centuries old and a mellow set of notions can be highly helpful in understanding topical social phenomena, while anthropology, with its modern methodology, flexible approach, and holistic perspective, can also explain certain issues. The author deals with three main topics: digitalization of our accumulated cultural heritage, folkloristic "hot subjects" in the context of ethnography and the Internet, and the role that growing computer literacy or digital information literacy among young experts can play in the field of comprehensive ethnographical and anthropological investigations of contemporary Hungarian society.
